I had an abortion over 20 years ago and I’ve never told anyone.
I wasn't paying attention to which Extra Safe Space submission was slated to go up today and this one makes me particularly sad now during a time when this will likely be happening more and more. It seemed odd that we posted it with no editorializing around it. In any case,I am going back to doing the kind of abortion rights outreach that I did 30 years ago when I would host these Rock For Choice benefits around the country to raise money and awareness., which feels sad and bizarre. Stay tuned here for some ways we are going to be supporting abortion rights as a team and for ways you can get involved with us in that if you want to.
Meanwhile, I'll go find another ESS submission to post today too, in case you want it.
