I told my whole family and our friends that I took my son's dog to be cremated and properly disposed of, but I really put it in a trash bag and threw it into a dumpster behind our nearest grocery store. I will never tell anyone. I don't know if saving money and time was worth the guilt I still feel. This was two years ago or more. I feel awful.
