Hey, all of you! What’s going on? You don't have to answer that out loud right now, but do tell us everything in the comment threads, please?
A little update from us, here, as we continue to experiment with this platform and project, Another Jane Pratt Thing. We decided to try something new where every morning we’ll send you the stories we published yesterday. You know, in case you didn’t get around to checking out all our great stuff just yet.
If it gets too annoying I’m sure you’ll tell us! Charlie thought it would be annoying to send this every day — but I don’t care at all about annoying people, it’s what I do best! (I have worked with Corynne for a long time and this is true. - Jane) And sometimes, being annoying is helpful, as in, hey, did you remember to read that awesome Substack Jane Pratt just launched? No? Well, here’s a little recap.
Mystical writer human Ani wrote something about finding magic in the mundane and breaking up with God in the shower — and honestly, if you can’t read it now, at least save it for later because I think it’s a must.
Speaking of lady icons with new stuff to check out, did you know Ali Wong released a new special? I did not, and I’m obsessed with her. You know who did know about it? Feminista. And in this week’s “Feminista Is Watching This So You Don't Have To” she gives us a spoiler-free recap.
If you need a hug in the form of a Substack post, Vanessa shared some of the reasons her (absolutely adorable) parents’ marriage has lasted 60 years. Jane saw this picture in Vanessa’s Insta and said she had to write about it because there were clearly stories there. And this one reminded me to be nice to my husband. Sometimes.
We hope you love what we’re making here on this new little venture. If so, tell your friends. You can be annoying and still thrive! Just look at me!
PS We love your comments, so please keep leaving them and telling us what to do.
xo, Corynne
Charlie was right
Without a daily recap/reminder I will forget. Speaking of forgetting, can y’all write about menopause? Yes, that’s how long I’ve been rocking with THE Jane Pratt. 😂
