The truth is I had a list of about 30 possible names when I passed by a diner with a sign outside that just said lunch and I thought it was perfect. And for people like us who order in a lot of meals, it creates funny confusion in our household often.

Chile! Spelled with an e because my youngest didn’t want him named after the dish - he’s named after red chile peppers. He’s a red poodle.
